DESIGN NAME: Esk Space
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office
INSPIRATION: Inspired by Inception, the designer uses mirror, glass, stainless steel, marble wood finish and other materials, and creates different atmosphere Spaces from private to public through deconstruction and interpenetration.
The entrance is transparent floor-to-ceiling glass, wide field of view overlooking the scenery of Hangzhou. The designer creates a sunken reception area in the central area that connects with the elevation of the entrance.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Space according to the function is divided into three areas: to meet the visitors area as the core, the design of the soft and hard to separate the design. The reception area includes the front hall, the leisure water bar area, the reception area and the indoor scenic area. Through appropriate waste area, create the mystery of entering different spaces, make the space transition natural, stimulate exploration and curiosity.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The first step, research, understand the design, function, style needs:
1. Plane planning.
2. Collect intention, develop style, soft installation positioning.
3. Draw preliminary scheme.
4. Draw the 3D model after the plane is confirmed.
5. After confirming the 3D model and material, draw the effect diagram.
The third part presents the spatial effect:
1. Draw the initial 3D effect according to the spatial model.
2. After confirming the initial 3D effect, draw the HD renderings.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Start 2023 february-completion 2023 June Hangzhou, Binjiang District, China.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The use of large mirror ceiling between the virtual and solid space; architecture; indoor and outdoor interweaving relationship, the use of large areas of stone and local luxury stones, logs, stainless steel and other materials to reflect the texture of the space.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This project has a total area of 420 square meters.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Different lighting techniques are configured between day and night. During the day, it is decorated with natural lights and local point sources in the room, and at night, it is presented with the light source in the middle and low section of the indoor light source as the main indoor atmosphere light city night scene as the painting frame.
CHALLENGE: Space design, dividing functional areas is a major challenge. The key to solve this problem is the interpenetration, dislocation, layering and mirroring of building blocks. These techniques can not only divide space, but also create a sense of hierarchy and three-dimensional. Interspersed design makes the space more flexible, provides more functional area possibilities, and enhances spatial mobility and coherence.
