| DESIGN NAME: Future Shell Modular Jacket PRIMARY FUNCTION: Garment INSPIRATION: In the post-pandemic era, outdoor activities become increasingly popular, especially among children. However, there is no distinct boundary between children's daily and outdoor dressing, so choosing proper outfits for the children is a pain for their parents. Therefore, Future Shell Modular Jacket was born. Featuring a modular design and an innovative Airbreath linkage ventilation system, this jacket enjoys exceptional breathability and comfort, making it suitable for multiple scenarios. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Future Shell Modular Jacket innovatively introduces an Airbreath linkage ventilation system. The knitted fabrics on the back and underarm areas of the thermal and sports layers, coupled with the breathable structure on the back and underarm areas of the protective layer, ensure constant and stable ventilation, helping enhance wearing comfort. This modular jacket allows for free combination and purchasing as needed to adapt to diverse weather conditions ranging from minus 10 to 25 (degrees Celsius). OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The innovative Airbreath linkage ventilation system guarantees constant and stable breathability whether this modular jacket is worn separately or in combination, so children can choose single or multiple pieces based on weather conditions or the intensity of activities for more comfort. A large-size height adjuster facilitates the back hat's height adjustment. An inclined cuff adjuster ensures wearing comfort and easy operation. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project will finish in September 2024 in Shanghai. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Airbreath:The breathable structure on the back and underarm areas of the protective layer, together with elastic knitted fabrics of the sports layer and thermal layer, forms a 3-layer linkage ventilation system to enhance comfort. Materials: This jacket is crafted from 100 percent recycled polyester fabrics treated with PFC-free DWR. Each layer is filled with PrimaLoft Insulation with Ocean Bound plastic, and the single component material facilitates the garments' re-entry into the recycling system. To this end, each layer of the Future Shell Modular Jacket utilizes a single material to enable different functions, combined with the elastic knitted fabrics of the thermal layer and the sports layer, hugely enhancing wearing comfort. This modular jacket allows for free combination based on needs, making it suitable for multiple weathers and scenarios.
