DESIGN NAME: Bits'n'Bites
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Website And Mobile Application
INSPIRATION: The inspiration behind the Bits’n’Bites landing page was the creation of a simple yet engaging gateway that mirrors the app's core values. Vibrant colours and dynamic elements were selected to forge a welcoming atmosphere, placing emphasis on fun and innovation. This design philosophy sought to render the app's main features immediately comprehensible and inviting, guaranteeing a lively and contemporary user experience. The objective was to amalgamate visual appeal with functionality, showcasing the essence of the app in an intuitive and captivating fashion.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Bits’n’Bites app builds genuine connections amongst business professionals. It fosters personal relationships, maintains, and organises their contacts when attending various events. The app enables users to analyse which events are most beneficial for expanding their professional network and determining if they have met the appropriate individuals. Bits’n’Bites emphasises fostering authentic human-to-human interactions, rather than relying on AI.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Bits’n’Bites landing page acts as a gateway for exploring the app, providing a sneak peek into its functionality and features. Users can navigate through the page with ease, uncovering key aspects of the app's mission and benefits. By scanning a QR code, they seamlessly transition to the app for further exploration. This intuitive interaction process affords a comprehensive understanding of the app's value proposition, ultimately boosting user engagement and satisfaction.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project commenced in June 2023 in Sofia, Bulgaria, focusing on the app design and remains in progress. Currently in the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) stage, its release is anticipated within the next five months. The landing page has been made available online.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: For the Bits’n’Bites landing page, colour theory and Gestalt principles were applied to reflect the essence of the app. Vibrant greens, blues, and a soothing pink, recognised for their friendly and inviting qualities, were selected to harmonise with the app's identity, facilitating a seamless transition from the landing page to the app itself. Through the alignment of design elements and user-centric features, a cohesive experience that resonates with the audience was ensured, thereby enhancing satisfaction and retention.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The landing page is a Wordpress website together with Elementor builder. This technology was selected, so the project would be easier to grow and be managed by a marketing team.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research targeted understanding user requirements in professional networking. Through conducting interviews and usability testing, insights were gathered. Tools like personal meetings, Zoom, and prototyping software enabled engagement with a diverse group of professionals. The findings uncovered a prevalent desire for genuine connections. Acknowledging the preference among some users for laptops/computers, a user-friendly website was developed, complementing the Bits’n’Bites app seamlessly.
CHALLENGE: Transitioning the design from the app to the website posed a significant challenge. Ensuring coherence and user engagement across platforms required meticulous attention to diverse UX elements, including screen size and navigation. It was paramount to preserve the core identity of Bits’n’Bites throughout this transition. Despite the complexities involved, the team adeptly translated the app's design ethos into a seamless and intuitive website interface, thereby fostering user satisfaction and accessibility.
