| DESIGN NAME: Yanzhou IP Design PRIMARY FUNCTION: Illustration INSPIRATION: By conducting IP design and illustration design on the theme of Yanzhou IP Design, exploring the visual presentation of traditional culture with localized IP characteristics, using IP images and media to express the elegance of Yanzhou, endowing local culture with new era connotations and pleasing forms of expression, and arousing people's love and awareness of protecting Yanzhou culture. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Yanzhou IP Design is an IP illustration of Yanzhou's ancient city culture, which conceptualizes regional cultural elements through the form of illustrations, creates a situational atmosphere, matches color levels, and uses modern media to showcase Yanzhou's unique architectural culture and folk customs. It spreads Yanzhou's human and natural culture in a way that fits modern aesthetics, endowing the ancient city culture with new contemporary connotations. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Spread the traditional culture of ancient Chinese villages in a way consistent with modern people's aesthetics, and arouse people's awareness of protection. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China in July 2023 and was completed in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China in October 2023, lasting a total of three months. In November 2023, the project was exhibited in the "Beautiful China" innovative design competition in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, and won the national first prize. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The illustrations and expressions were drawn by Photoshop graphic design software. It can showcase the details of exquisite illustrations well. In the contemporary society with developed Internet and digital media, people can seize the opportunity to carry forward Yanzhou culture by investigating the rich connotation of this regional culture and establishing the popular IP image and national style illustration as the expression media. CHALLENGE: The difficulty lies in the creative graphic expression of culture, the combination of modern aesthetics and traditional culture, the accurate grasp of the characteristics of national style illustrations, and the retention of traditional charm while keeping up with the aesthetic pace of the times.
