Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, each piece boasts a sleek concave shape, a bold black exterior, and the unparalleled quality of stoneware.Utilized age-old methods. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This object engages users through visual and tactile experiences, inviting them to appreciate its craftsmanship. Its transformation is evident in the seamless blend of traditional roots with modern aesthetics. Interaction occurs naturally as individuals explore its contours and textures. Key stages include conceptualization, material selection, shaping, and final detailing. Its exceptional performance arises from the meticulous craftsmanship, resulting in a product that resonates with users seeking authenticity and elegance. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project Started in March 2023 in Istanbul and finished in January 2024 and was exhibited in Messe Frankfurt Ambiente. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Fine Stoneware,Handcrafte SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Inner Box Quantity: 6 Fine Stoneware Bold Black Exterior Concave Shape TAGS: Handcrafted, Roots, FineStoneware, Traditional, CraftedElegance, Sustainable, FromAnatoliaToTheWor RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We embarked on a journey to differentiate ourselves from repetitive projects by embracing a unique and original design approach. Drawing from our 52 years of experience, we returned to our roots with a fine stoneware collection crafted through old-school, handmade techniques. Our aim is to not only reconnect with our heritage but also to infuse our products with historical and cultural significance through artisanal craftsmanship, presenting it to the world. By intertwining traditional and modern elements, we have created a piece that both reminisces about the past and inspires the future, making our journey all the more meaningful. CHALLENGE: The creative challenge in this project lay in blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design sensibilities while ensuring authenticity and originality. Overcoming this required navigating internal factors like honoring our historical roots and cultural heritage while adapting to contemporary market demands. Externally, we faced obstacles related to sourcing materials, complying with regulations, and integrating new technologies without compromising the essence of handcrafted artistry. Balancing these factors was crucial to achieving a seamless fusion of past and present in our fine stoneware collection.
