PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hulunbuir Organic Pure Milk
INSPIRATION: The design of Satine Hulunbuir Organic Pure Milk was inspired by the tranquil, unspoiled Hulunbuir grasslands. Our goal was to transform milk into an experience that reflects the pure and culturally rich essence of Inner Mongolia. This idea was inspired by a classic Chinese verse that vividly portrays the grassland, representing the strong bond between the natural world and the region's historical roots.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Satine Hulunbuir Organic Pure Milk comes from Hulunbuir's clean and beautiful grasslands. Its packaging shows a full view of this wide area, including green fields, blue lakes, cows roaming free, and Mongolian tents. This vivid visual representation offers consumers a distinctive experience, bringing to life the breathtaking natural scenery and rich cultural heritage of Hulunbuir.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Satine Hulunbuir Organic Pure Milk packaging is designed for easy and engaging interaction. Featuring a 360-degree panorama of the Hulunbuir grasslands, it invites consumers to rotate the container, exploring images of lush landscapes and traditional Mongolian life. This design not only looks appealing but also connects users to the product's origins, making the experience of using the milk more immersive and meaningful than regular packaging. The blend of Chinese and Mongolian scripts on the package adds to its cultural appeal and ease of understanding.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Aug, 2022 and the product is launched in Nov, 2022.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design of Satine Hulunbuir Organic Pure Milk's packaging involved research focused on integrating cultural and environmental elements. Our goal was to connect the product with the natural and cultural richness of Hulunbuir grasslands, appealing to consumer preferences. This involved studying Mongolian culture, analyzing consumer trends, and exploring innovative packaging. The result was a distinctive 360-degree panoramic packaging, enhancing brand recognition and consumer engagement, and demonstrating the value of combining traditional and modern design elements in impacting business, society, and design innovation.
CHALLENGE: The major challenge in creating the packaging for Satine Hulunbuir Organic Pure Milk was to encapsulate the expansive and open spirit of the Hulunbuir grasslands within the confines of a small package. Our aim was to represent not only the area's visual appeal but also its rich cultural and historical significance. To achieve this, we conducted in-depth research on Mongolian cultural traditions and the natural environment of the region, striving for authenticity in every aspect of the design. A key task was the seamless integration of Chinese and Mongolian scripts, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and readability. By overcoming these challenges, we crafted a design that emotionally connects with consumers, effectively bringing a slice of the Hulunbuir grasslands into their everyday life, while honoring the area's cultural, historical, and technological context.
