| DESIGN NAME: West Garden Spring Autumn PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Hall INSPIRATION: The designers take “history books” as the cultural element in site layout. Designers match the shapes and appearances of these history books in different periods with corresponding functions respectively and scatter variously shaped books in the space to show the excellent history of the park. There are many design elements of books including bamboo slips, painting scrolls, book volumes in different period, which make the space design more interesting. The exhibition is divided into five parts. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Compared with some large museums and historical exhibition halls, the West Garden of the Spring and Autumn Exhibition Hall mainly tells the development history of Zhongshan Park in Wuhan. It carries many stories and memories of citizens in Wuhan although it is not grand enough and the historical materials are not rich enough. The exhibition area is less than 200 square meters.
