| DESIGN NAME: Painting Scenic Splendor PRIMARY FUNCTION: Graphic Design INSPIRATION: This project is the unconditional offer of admission designed for Beijing Forestry University. The inspiration of the project is from a detailed observation of the campus environment and a deep commitment to environmental protection. This design skillfully integrates the scenic beauty of the campus with eco-friendly principles. It aims to provide new students with a unconditional offer that not only features the unique characteristics of the university but also embodies artistic elements. Thereby, it vividly highlights Beijing Forestry University's emphasis on environmental conservation. Because it's a distinctive attribute of the institution. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is a design work for 2023 Beijing Forestry University Unconditional Offer of Admission, it contains three parts: an envelope, a offer letter, and an illustration. The envelope's design cleverly employs the folding of the paper to form the outer packaging. The offer letter is made from eco-friendly paper, further emphasizing its environmentally friendly attributes. The accompanying illustration showcases the scenic beauty of Beijing Forestry University, serving as a special gift for new students. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project is committed to ensuring that new students feel a sense of surprise the moment they open their unconditional offer of admission. Therefore, the main color of the notification envelope is an understated and dark color, and its solidity is increased by a unique snap structure. Upon opening the envelope, the exquisite internal illustrations and the elegant offer letter come into view, creating an unforgettable experience. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The offer's envelope is made from 157-gram copperplate paper and is coated with a matte film, which adds a refined texture. The offer letter utilizes 200-gram environmentally friendly paper and is printed in four colors, showcasing a design that is both simple and sophisticated. The illustrations also use 200-gram eco-friendly paper, refined through a detailed laser process, creating a delicate visual effect. Additionally, the school logo is crafted with selective UV processing, lending these details a sleek and upscale finish. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Offer letter size: 203mm x 287mm, Illustration size: 203mm x 287mm, Envelope size: 209mm x 293mm x 5mm. TAGS: Illustration Design，Packaging Design，Uncondition RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Given that this is unconditional offer of admission form Beijing Forestry University, the design predominantly features deep green in its color scheme. The illustrations within depict the university's iconic buildings, embodying both subtlety and elegance. CHALLENGE: The offer's envelope ingeniously achieves its packaging effect through the folding of the paper itself. Moreover, the interior illustrations meticulously depict the iconic buildings of Beijing Forestry University, with laser processing applied to certain parts.
