RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Reflex has always worked with blown glass and has developed over the years a certain competence.
However, as it is a very complex material and requires artisanal workmanship, many factors must be considered when designing.
It was crucial to rely on a team of master glassmakers who worked on the project from the beginning and created numerous prototypes before settling on the final model.
CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge was designing a structure that was sturdy and reliable enough to contrast a fragile material such as blown glass, yet still retain the characteristic lightness and brightness of the material.
