| DESIGN NAME: Shanyue Outdoor PRIMARY FUNCTION: Children's Shoes INSPIRATION: Most outdoor trail running shoes are designed for adults, and some are too heavy with dark colors, which are not suitable for children. Besides, there is a lack of professional brands for children's outdoor shoes. To this end, our design R&D team innovatively launched this pair of children's multi-scene outdoor trail running shoes that are highly waterproof to be a good partner for children when they do outdoor sports like jogging, hiking, climbing, etc. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This product is designed based on the market needs for children trail running shoes suitable for multiple scenarios. It applies the B-WTPRO high-tech water-resistant fabric material on the upper to block rain and cement from splashing and soaking, coupled with a wading depth of up to 8.5cm, securing a high waterproof performance. The lining uses a B-WTPRO waterproof membrane with a microporous structure for excellent breathability, keeping feet dry all the time. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The lace-control knob allows users to quickly adjust the laces for better elasticity and comfort, ensuring easy on and off. The mid-calf upper vamp secures warmth and wind resistance, making the shoes suitable for adverse weather conditions like rainstorms or strong breezes. The heel TPU stabilizer and the light and anti-slip rubber outsoles secure grasp and stability across rough terrains and enhance anti-slip performance by 30%. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in September 2023 in Zhejiang. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It applies the B-WTPRO water-resistant fabrics and breathable membranes to enable a wading depth of up to 8.5 cm, surviving various waterlogged roads. The waterproof membrane with a microporous structure enjoys excellent breathability to keep feet dry all the time. It partially utilizes recyclable materials to reduce carbon footprint. The midsoles with lightweight EVA IP foaming technology ensure softness, resilience, and comfort, acting as a buffer against impact caused by exercising. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Size: height*width*depth: 260mm*100mm*140mm Weight (finished shoes): 0.197kg (single shoe) The insoles are equipped with lightweight EVA IP foaming technology. And each outsole (35#) weighs only 160g, 20% lighter than regular EVA, ensuring a comfortable wear experience. TAGS: Children outdoor waterproof shoes, waterproof materials, dynamic water resistance, lightweight design, comfortable and breathable, suitable for multiple terrains RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Developing teenagers (7 to 14 years old) start to engage in outdoor sports and activities. To ensure the healthy development of children's feet, this pair of shoes is designed with outstanding waterproof materials to secure dynamic water resistance, avoiding foot diseases caused by wearing soaking wet shoes during outdoor sports. Moreover, the upper vamp is breathable, enabling children's feet to keep dry and comfortable all the time. CHALLENGE: This product adopts B-WTPRO water-resistant materials to secure dynamic water resistance, facilitating children to walk on water-logged roads or rainy days. Based on data from the lab tests, this product enables or surpasses the international standard of waterproof levels by 10,000 times in dynamic conditions and the enterprise standard by 4 hours in static conditions, blocking rain and mud from splashing and soaking. All these features make high-quality outdoor waterproof shoes for children.
