| DESIGN NAME: HD Diamond Series PRIMARY FUNCTION: Shower Room INSPIRATION: The design inspiration comes from the diamond cutting surface, utilizing the fusion of lines and geometric block surfaces to showcase the rich spatial visual hierarchy between light and shadow, with a golden ratio of precise cutting beauty. The 6mm "H-shaped" extremely narrow frame reshapes the visual senses with the ultimate line aesthetic, creating a refined and minimalist spatial atmosphere, giving the space more possibilities. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The HD Diamond series innovates with a 6mm "H" shaped extremely narrow frame, utilizing the laminated glass process stacking principle. The 5 plus 5 glass displaced interlayer makes the right-angle frame have a narrowest front width of 10mm, achieving the same thickness as the glass. The door frame adopts waterproof tape made of metal wrapped silicone material, which has better airtightness and achieves color compatibility with the metal, making it more harmonious and unified. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The series is equipped with a damping buffer, achieving a 90-degree positioning when opening the door, an automatic return when closing the door at 10 degrees, a buffered closure at 45 degrees, and ultra quiet experience. And it effectively reducing safety issues such as glass collisions and hand gripping. The innovative metal return sink installed at the bottom guides the accumulated water on the glass back to the shower area when opening the door, achieving all-round wet and dry separation. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in July 2023 in Guangzhou. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The series adopts a non magnetic capsule closure structure, achieving a 6mm "H-shaped" extremely narrow frame; The laminated glass process stacking principle and the 5 plus 5 glass displaced interlayer make the right angle frame have a narrowest front width of 10mm, achieving the extremely narrow frame with the same thickness as the glass. The door frame adopts waterproof tape made of metal wrapped silicone material, achieving high airtightness and durability. CHALLENGE: It considers on how to create the atmosphere of an elegant and luxurious space while meeting the practical functions. By combining 6mm "H" shaped extremely narrow frames and metal door frames with transparent glass, traditional cumbersome decorations and layouts are extremely simplified. Meanwhile, the innovative metal return sink at the bottom of the door achieves in collecting water immediately upon opening, resulting in a more comprehensive separation of dry and wet conditions.
