| DESIGN NAME: Talento PRIMARY FUNCTION: Table INSPIRATION: The Talento table, part of the Talento collection, elegantly reflects the style of the sideboards of the same family. An extremely modern design that wants to defy the force of gravity thanks to a surprising and delicate suspension and lightness effect given by the unusual shape of the legs and the always odd number of them. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Table with rounded wooden top and modular legs with rounded section available in marble, natural, glossy lacquered and metallic lacquered wood. It is available in the round, rectangular or square version, and can be equipped with a Lazy Susan accessory. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Every single edges of this particular table, both in top and in legs structure's round and smooth. It is a result of craftmenship and has been designed to make the product immediately recognizable. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Milano in 2022 and ended with the presentation during Milano Design week 2023. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Furniture Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Marble Top with structure in wood or lacquered wood and legs in three different materials: wood, liquid metal and marble. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 3000 x Depth 1200 x Height 730 TAGS: luxuryfurniture, table, handmade, surfacedesign, uniquetable, marble RESEARCH ABSTRACT: During the designing process, we started from a very simple shape and embed it with all the others. The result was really stunning. A unique joint between all the legs of the table, without loosing stability and preciousness. CHALLENGE: The hardest part of Talento table was to find a solution to reach a stability according to the particularity of the leg's joint. This process took one year in design and engineering research.
