| DESIGN NAME: Cinema PRIMARY FUNCTION: Chair INSPIRATION: The product design was inspired by the cinema director's chair, in a nod to the 7th art, which is present in everyone's lives. Having your own refuge of being the director of our lives. Looking at life like a movie. Awakening emotions and inspiration. He translates this with great Brazilianness, dialoguing with the past at the same time as he reinvents the future. Referring to the classic, but with a modern and intriguing look. It seeks to combine innovation, sustainability, practicality, ergonomics and symbolism. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Created to bring people together and connect the nostalgia of cinema, both in residential and corporate environments. Its most striking feature is the machining of the front and fixing of the upholstered wooden backrest. It uses molded seats, which follow the anatomical shape of the human body, added to the flexible backrest, provide great comfort. Having in its production the ability to edit the product, with many finishing and coating options, which further increases the versatility of its use in the most diverse environments. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The structural part is made with solid Jequitibá wood, from forest management, which is the most efficient process for using this material, and carefully machined with CNC technology. Painting done with a spray gun, using acrylic paint. The upholstery is handmade, with foam, and covered with various fabric options, ranging from linen, boucles, synthetics to the use of natural leather. The cinema chair was created to meet these needs and, at the same time, provide a unique experience to the user, awakening playfulness. It transports us to a privileged position, that of director of our own stories. CHALLENGE: To create the Cinema chair, the designer had to balance comfort and versatility with the essence of cinema, the project's object of desire. In its research with partners and users to identify their needs, resulting in a project that recalls the nostalgic Cinema Director's chair, dialoguing with the past at the same time as reinventing the future, with a new and modern look on the chair, which could Being used in different environments, communicating with any form of architecture, this attracts a wide variety of users.
