DESIGN NAME: Family of Viti Back
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Monitor Mounts
INSPIRATION: The inspiration for this project was the De Stijl movement, particularly the ordered compositions of Mondrian and the principles of Bauhaus. A reinterpretation of geometric language into minimalist forms of holders that allow for various compositions. Harmonizing simplified form with functionality and the convergence of art and technology. A manifesto against excessive elements.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The key to the efficiency of the video monitor's support lies in a monolithic construction that enables numerous mounting options and intuitive configuration, stability of secured devices, and vibration resistance. Universal mounting on tripods, trusses, and pipes with a 360 degrees rotation and smooth tilt adjustment.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Creating a multimedia space in 3 steps with Viti Back Family:
1. Attach the bracket to the VESA holes of the monitor.
2. Attach two half couplers to opposite holes choosing 1 of 18 positions.
3. Mount in the selected place installation.
Function 360 degree rotate in 16 positions, panning a left or right and smooth adjustment of the tilt angle.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in July 2020 in Warsaw and concluded in September 2023.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: 1. Global market analysis of video-monitor mounts was conducted using AI.
2. 3D models were optimized for minimal form, and strength analyses were performed utilizing cloud computing.
3. Prototypes were tested in stage conditions and public spaces, considering various mounting scenarios, the security of installed devices, and intuitive usability.
4. Event simulations were conducted to assess potential configurations and outcomes.
CHALLENGE: Balancing between the aesthetics of a unified form and technical possibilities. Simplifying the visual language while simultaneously expanding the product's function through user interaction. Creating a product that not only meets technical requirements and provides alternative monitor mounting options in a rapidly evolving visual technology environment but also actively shapes it.
