| DESIGN NAME: Lakeside Mansion PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Office INSPIRATION: Hangzhou, where the project is located, is renowned for its picturesque scenery throughout all seasons, which provides inspiration for the design team. Water is a key element in the culture of Hangzhou. Based on that, the team shaped the crystal lamps above the sand table into water droplets, reminiscent of dew sliding off leaves. Additionally, the layout is inspired by Donglaige in Linping, further embodying the charm of history and culture of Hangzhou. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Located in Linping, Hangzhou, this sales center, with understated luxury as the design direction, carefully selects traditional cultural elements with local characteristics, including rain, architecture, landscape, etc., and makes some innovation, to create an artistic space catering to modern aesthetic tastes. It integrates modern metal technology with natural elements, leading to an atmosphere that is both luxurious and elegant. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This sales center not only enables the traditional function on selling houses, but also includes a consultation area and a reading area to better satisfy user needs. The consultation area exclusive to the VIP, through the subtle placement of leather chairs and sofas as well as metal coffee tables, creates a comfortable, luxurious atmosphere for conversations. The reading area boasts an artistic ambiance and natural elements, offering users a reading experience with a sense of ceremony. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This project takes calm fish belly grey marble and metallic texture as the main elements for its hard interior, which is supplemented with Prada green, blending natural beauty with exquisite luxury. Its combination with soft lighting leads to a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. Notably, the metal work in the foyer boasts a hammered finish to resemble rippling water, which is coupled with green plants made from metal, to create a miniature of natural landscape in Hangzhou. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 300m² TAGS: sales center design, interior design, nature, human culture, exquisite luxury RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Most sales centers on the market today are designed in a luxurious, splendid style, which fails to bridge the emotional gap between people and the space. In contrast, this space design incorporates local natural and cultural elements to create a sales center imbued with the culture of Hangzhou, thus facilitating dialogue and connection between the city, space, nature, and art. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge was how to integrate urban culture into the space design and blend traditional cultural significance with modern aesthetics. To address that, the design team carefully selected the natural and cultural elements of Linping District. Inspired by the arch lines of Donglaige, the lamps above the sand table are designed to be at varying heights. The mossy scenic spot in the foyer presents a glimpse of natural landscape in Hangzhou, capturing its essence in a subtle manner.
