| DESIGN NAME: Snapfit PRIMARY FUNCTION: Detachable Trash Can INSPIRATION: Large garbage cans in transportation due to the large volume and the interior is empty, it is extremely easy to cause goods knock and damage, while its large volume produces high transportation costs, and a great waste of packaging materials, resulting in environmental problems. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Detachable trash can is a smart disassembly structure that can be assembled into a household garbage can in 30 seconds with 6 parts and no tool installation. In use, the leg can be disassembled to meet the needs of different heights, and the leg can be avoided after use. After the overall disassembly, the packaging volume is reduced by 70%, reducing the transportation cost. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The lid can be opened by human sensing and touch, avoiding manual contact. Can choose to increase the leg use, can avoid bending. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main shell of the kd trash can is made of environmentally friendly stainless steel plate, with a top cover, base and raising legs made of degradable plastic. Six parts are assembled into a large trash can in 30 seconds through a clever quick-disassembly structure. The booster leg can be used on demand and can be disassembled quickly without additional tools. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 455 mm x Depth 400 mm x Height 110 mm TAGS: Removable, easy to transport, increase the use, multi scene, easy to clean RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Before the launch of the project, we conducted a study of more than 200 large garbage cans on the market, which mainly found two key problems: 1. The large garbage can is easy to cause knock and damage to goods due to its large volume in transportation, while producing high transportation costs, waste packaging materials, and environmental protection problems. 2. The survey found that different usage scenarios have different requirements for the height of garbage cans. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge in the process of implementation and research is the conception and design of the quick disassembly method, how to ensure the rapid disassembly at the same time, safe and reliable, and realize the toolless installation. We hope that the implementation of this feature will bring a new experience to the user, while greatly reducing the packaging.
