| DESIGN NAME: Lush Purline PRIMARY FUNCTION: House Interior Design INSPIRATION: This is a 5-story townhouse, where a family of four generations lives. Aiming at interlacing every needs and emotional appeals of each generation demographic, the design scheme maintains a low profile with full consideration in daily life. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This composition represents the coexistence of the old and young family members, the shared space caters to the needs of four generations, and utilized materials from different generations to represent personal characteristics that span generations. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To create a rhythmical surface, curves, voids, and solids were used to transform them. With the consideration of both old and young family members, arcs were used to replace right angles around. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: With specified combination, highlights the interdependent relationship between coldness, organic, order, and freedom, also supports personal characteristics and functional utility, symbolizing the harmonious coexistence of rationality and sensibility. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Contruction area 178 square meter. TAGS: Modern, minimalism, curves, voids, and solids RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Aiming a interlacing physiological needs and psychological emotional appeals of each generation demographic, the design scheme maintains a throbbing full consideration in daily life, while the consideration of both old and young family members. CHALLENGE: To respect their habit differences, the layout deliberately demarcated into shared and exclusive areas by several opening or enclosing the sliding doors, which form is flexible and able to satisfy for variant scenarios.
