DESIGN NAME: Double Luck
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jewellery Collection
INSPIRATION: Double Luck is a jewellery collection that draws inspiration from the grace and resilience of Arabian horses, representing beauty, strength, and endurance. The concept originated from drawings in a calendar, where a horseshoe-like eternal symbol of Luck emerged. The collection further embraces personal birthday or lucky numbers, enriching the symbolism. Through the fusion of artistic craftsmanship and numerological symbols, Double Luck embarks wearers on a captivating journey, rekindling their connection with the mysterious and potent influence of numbers.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The designer discovered a unique artistic approach to this jewellery collection through their study of numerology. Using numbers as the core components, they sculpted them into various pieces, such as rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings, and buttons. The entire collection is crafted from sterling silver, coated with gold or rhodium, and meticulously cast into molds. Each number is carefully shaped into the form of a horseshoe. This design carries a profound meaning - "numbers matter" in our digital world. Numbers represent frequencies, vibrations, and personal messages. They can be used as pin codes or dates that hold special memories.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Double Luck jewellery pieces are designed to be worn and cherished. They invite wearers to connect with the symbolism of numbers and experience the essence of luck in their daily lives. The collection offers two distinct lines: the Simple Line, featuring chains and rings centered around a particular number, and the Iconic Line, which showcases more intricate combinations of numerals and symbolic elements. Each piece interacts with the wearer, serving as a reminder of personal numerological significance and the enduring power of luck.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design journey of Double Luck began in Prague, Czech Republic. The design was patented in 2015, marking the initiation of a technological background for the collection. The Iconic line debuted at the Inhorgenta exhibition in Munich in 2019.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research behind the Double Luck collection explores the profound significance of numbers in human culture. Drawing from numerology, ancient traditions, and personal symbolism, it delves into the intricate relationship between numbers and human experiences. The aim is to connect artistic expression with numerological concepts, providing wearers with a deeper understanding of the hidden meanings within their chosen numbers. The eternal symbol of these numbers embodies one's vibration, frequency, and destiny.
CHALLENGE: The creative challenge encountered during the development of the Double Luck collection was effectively translating the abstract concepts of numerology into tangible and aesthetically pleasing jewellery designs. The designer sought to balance artistic expression, functional design, and the intricate symbolism of numbers. By overcoming this challenge, the Double Luck collection successfully captures the essence of numerological significance while providing individuals with wearable works of art.
