PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Residential Sample House
INSPIRATION:
To carefully ponder the duty of the sample home and exploit clear glass for exhibition and visual expansion. Make use of reusable timber to build an abiding design that manifests the beautiful vision of the guest and the environmental concern withal.Accurately take advantage of natural building materials, such as wood veneer and granite that hold an abiding character with their durable and typical quality. And what’s more, the elements can be recycled after demolition and live more Sustainably.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This case is chiefly finished with timber and veneer furnishing,intermingled with fair-faced concrete and delicately introducing the guest to look into the placement via detailed configuration. Strip light and hardware embellishment fashion the Wabi-Sabi dwelling with a stylish motif. And exploit wood veneer to decorate the beam, which not only enlarges the space but also skillfully creates design coherence.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Behind the TV wall, leave a spare room without windows. Thence, set out strip lights on the ceiling and timber grid partition to ensure adequate lighting also attracts the guest's attention. The other adjacent spare room performs linear features with a wooden headboard and wall-mounted drawer and brilliantly adds a round mirror to connect all the flexible settings.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in November 2021 and finished in January 2022 in New Taipei city in Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Fair-faced concrete applies on the TV wall, which is laid at a bevel angle and coupled with a wall lamp. And the granite container below is combined with the closet of the spare room to leave space for the hallway.
Utilize clear glass for an open cabinet to meet the requirement for display, artfully resulting in a vigorous ambiance.
The back wall is composed of unconventional elements, the veneer perfectly set off composed gray wallpaper on the right.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
An open shelf shines the entryway with a dash of bronze. Saunter by the house, fair-faced concrete applies on the TV wall, which is laid at a bevel angle and coupled with a wall lamp. And the granite container below is combined with the closet of the spare room to leave space for the hallway. We plainly furnish a two-seater sofa without arms and back, which not only works in concert with the Japanese culture but also, corresponds to the color scheme of the black ornament on the back wall.
CHALLENGE:
The back wall is composed of unconventional elements, the veneer perfectly set off composed gray wallpaper on the right with its warm tone to manifest the vibrancy and sprout. Delicately install the wardrobe instead of a standard one to increase storage capacity and facilitate the owner via ingeniously re-design a wide-open furnishing.
Adopt the identical features of the master bedroom, and to set up a dining table with granite legs to coherent the design theme of the shared area. Meantime, woven dining chairs and round pendant light complement the tender but enduring features of the setting, laying out an elegant picture.
