DESIGN NAME: Human Haus Tp
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Clothing Store
INSPIRATION: The project is a fusion space selling clothing and beverages. The brand brings together the works of local indie designers, providing a stage to showcase their products in a variety of styles and genres. The design team captured the most common feature of the product-'textile'-as the theme, imagining the space as a raw piece of fabric. They use materials and curves to create the texture and softness of a textile, while planning appropriate routes, allowing consumers to discover their preferences during shopping.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Pastel color: The color scheme is pure. The space has no excessive materials and marketing, and elegant beige is the main visual. The light colors can create a serene atmosphere, plus the curves and lighting between the areas shape different emotions.
Double routes: Routes are crucial to the fusion space. There is an outdoor terrace, which allows for a variety of routes. The design team planned the double routes. When visitors want to buy a drink, they can wait in the relay area, which presents the brand's impression. The cozy atmosphere will inspire people to enter the store.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: From the client's point of view, every detail of the project is meticulously presented, giving each corner a unique look, including the outdoor terrace, the semi-outdoor relay area, and the interior. One of the most satisfying parts of the project for the owner is the appropriate blank space between each cabinet, which makes it easier for customers to move around and emphasizes the characteristics of the clothes on the other hand. The project visualizes the brand's original definition of 'finding an image that expresses elegance, joy, and sophistication, and enjoying a quality life'.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in September 2022 in Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Stone paint is water-based paint, which means it uses water as the solvent instead of organic solvent. Therefore, stone paint does not have an unpleasant and pungent odor and does not cause harm to the human body. The finest texture of the paint is used for the project, which has a bumpy look but no being too rough. The natural shading effect is like a natural cut of cloth, contradicting and contradicting over-perfect and refined fashion mindset nowadays.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The site is a 40-year-old space on the first floor with a total area of 115.7 square meters.
The project is divided vertically and horizontally. After deconstruction and reorganization, the design team gave each volume meaning and task in the space. The fitting room and sofa area are delicately linked by a continuous curve, providing a distance between the waiting and the dressing person. The curved wall outside the fitting room forms a circular route, guiding the customers who are shopping for clothes. The circular route becomes a space that encompasses the changing of the dresser's mind and provides a soft sense of security.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The name of the project, Human Haus TP, comes from the name and concept of the brand and the connection between the space and the brand. To encourage indie designers to pursue better resources and stage, the brand gathered and provided a space for them to showcase. The design team captures the most common denominator of each item, 'textile', and compares the space to the fabric. They use materials and light to create an unadorned space, making the garments the main character.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was the diversity and complexity of the brand's definition. As the driving force behind many of the products, the brand acts as a quiet role. Its original intent was to 'find the beauty that expresses self,' so the space is filled with clothes by indie designers in a variety of styles. There are sophisticated styles, casual tones, or clothes with flamboyant embellishments, which means the design team can't just create a comfortable commercial space but has to plan for a wide range of items with a high degree of inclusivity.
