| DESIGN NAME: Oraimo Powersolar76 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Home Power System INSPIRATION: This design prioritizes minimalism and practicality. The control box features an integrated, simple style, with the iconic texture of the brand to enhance visual hierarchy. The green tone reflects the environmentally friendly nature of clean energy, and highlights the commitment to environmental protection. The front light offers three adjustable brightness levels, with a specialized cover for soft illumination. Tilted at 20 degrees, the light avoids direct glare to ensure comfortable lighting. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This home solar energy generating system, crafted for the areas in Africa with limited or unreliable electricity access, meets basic household electricity and lighting needs. The solar panel can be easily installed and adjusted to optimize photovoltaic conversion. The control box can connect to home appliances. Moreover, it integrates a light and offers the option to link to three additional light tubes for ample illumination. Two USB ports and a Type-C port further enhance its versatility. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: PowerSolar 76 offers a range of convenient installation and portability options to meet diverse user needs. Upon powering on the control box, users can quickly press the power button to turn on the integrated light and subsequently switch between high, medium, and low brightness levels with additional short presses. In low brightness mode, it can illuminate for up to 30 hours. The battery level indicator simplifies power management, assisting users in planning power consumption during outages. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design and development of PowerSolar 76 started in Shenzhen, January 2023. It was introduced to the African market in January 2024. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: LFP battery: Its lifespan outlasts the industry standard by tenfold, offering an impressive 3,000 cycles. When used once daily, it can be relied upon for about 10 years without any safety concerns. This practice not only pollutes indoor air but also poses potential risks such as carbon monoxide poisoning and fire hazards for family members. This is where Oraimo PowerSolar 76 comes into play, offering users a solar energy solution that is more economical, safer, and more sustainable. CHALLENGE: Addressing the challenges of integrating multiple functions in a compact form and ensuring efficient photovoltaic conversion, the control box can connect to three light tubes. A single downlight can last up to 36 hours. Its Type-C port and two USB ports meet diverse charging needs, along with a groove for handsfree phone charging. Its indicator light visualizes the solar energy utilization rate at various installation angles of the solar panel, aiding in adjustment for maximum energy conversion.
