| DESIGN NAME: Oraimo Powershield PRIMARY FUNCTION: Charging Device INSPIRATION: The concept of safety protection takes precedence in both design aesthetic and functionality. Embracing a simply yet elegant approach, the series blends clean lines with rounded corners, emanating a cohesive visual appeal. In its details, the runway inspired elements, combined with metallic shields, exude an aura of stability and security. To underscore the dedication to protection, the linear textures on both sides offer various benefits such as durability, wear resistance, and a nonslip grip. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Oraimo PowerShield Series, designed for safety protection and efficient charging, is poised to provide a stable, reliable and versatile charging experience. Integral to its prowess is the AniShield chip, adept at detecting current fluctuations and power outages. When such issues arise, the chip will automatically trigger power off protection and continue the charging process once the power stabilizes. The use of highly heat resistant materials adds an extra layer of protection. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This series offers three power options: the 25W model meets daily charging needs. The 33W variant not only acts as a charger but also doubles as a potable power bank, boasting foldable pins and a 5000mAh backup power reserve. The 65W model, designed for home use, supports three pin plug extensions. The indicator aids in charging status monitoring: a constant glow indicates standard charging, slow flashing warns of current fluctuations, and rapid blinking signals an automatic power off mode. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design and development of Oraimo PowerShield Series started in Shenzhen, in August 2023. It is scheduled for launch in Africa, in March 2024. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Thermal paste is applied in this series to enhance heat dissipation, maintaining a temperature consistently below 4 degrees Celsius during charging. The casing, crafted from heat resistant PC plastic, attains a V0 flame retardant rating. This sturdy material choice guarantees the series maintains its structural integrity and operates dependably even at a high temperature of up to 120 degrees Celsius, ensuring reliability in rather challenging conditions. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 97*115*118mm TAGS: Charging accessory, Efficient charging, Automatic power off protection, Versatile scenario applicability, Indicator light RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Conventional charging accessories often encounter challenges like current fluctuations and power interruptions, which can cause safety concerns due to their inability to intelligently adjust charging status. To address this issue, Oraimo PowerShield Series incorporates an automatic power outage detection feature that swiftly reacts to abnormal current conditions, maximizing protection for electronic devices and users. In this design, intelligence seamlessly combines with reliability. CHALLENGE: The key innovation is the AniShield chip, designed to swiftly react to current and voltage instability or sudden power interruptions by automatically activating power off protection. The charging process will seamlessly resume once electrical conditions stabilize. This feature prevent reverse currents and electrical surges, reducing the risks of overheating and internal damage due to voltage fluctuations. As a result, it bolsters charging safety and extends the lifespans of electronic devices.
