The recent unveiling of "Meridian Space" in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design category is a testament to the innovative spirit that drives our creative community forward. The concept, deeply rooted in the meridian system, where spaces and pathways within are likened to acupuncture points, resonates profoundly with me. This ingenious approach, where the main walkways are transformed into meridians, weaving through the space like channels of energy and blood through a body, is both a tribute to traditional wisdom and a leap in contemporary design thinking. The use of natural construction materials not only pays homage to the natural state of our bodies but also emphasizes the importance of sustainability in design. The meticulous attention to detail, from the strategic placement of materials to the challenge of integrating new with the existing without increasing waste, showcases a commitment to eco-friendly principles and the spirit of innovation. It is truly inspiring to see how the team, led by a visionary, has harmonized the spirit of the industry with the essence of design, creating a space that is both aesthetically pleasing and meaningful. This work by Dung Lin Tsai is a remarkable example of how design can transcend its traditional boundaries to touch and improve our lives in the most holistic way.

The winning of the A' Design Award for the "Meridian Space" in the category of Interior Space and Exhibition Design is a testament to the exceptional fusion of concept and spatial design that transcends conventional boundaries. The innovative use of the meridian system as an inspiration is truly commendable, elegantly translating the complex ideas of energy flow and connectivity into a tangible, immersive environment. It is fascinating how the spaces and main energy paths have been envisioned as acupuncture points within the meridian system, creating a harmonious balance between form and function, and merging design concepts seamlessly with the industry. This work not only showcases an advanced understanding of interior and exhibition design but also reflects a deep respect for traditional philosophies, reinterpreted in a modern context. The result is a space that not only serves its intended purpose but also enriches the user's experience on multiple levels. The creativity and thoughtfulness behind this project are inspiring, setting a high standard for future work in the field.

The winning of the A' Design Award by the "Meridian Space" project is a testament to the exceptional creativity and innovative approach in blending the ancient concept of the meridian system with contemporary interior design. The transformation of traditional meridian and vessel pathways into the main walkways and rooms of the space is nothing short of brilliant. The use of natural construction materials not only pays homage to the natural state of our bodies but also beautifully encapsulates the initial state of space as a metaphor. The inspiration drawn from the meridian system, seen as a network of channels for energy and blood flow, and its application to the design and spatial arrangement, reflects a deep understanding and respect for both the subject matter and the design discipline. The meticulous research and thoughtful consideration in combining space, materials, and walkways, while overcoming the challenge of integrating existing compartments into a new, cohesive design embody the spirit of innovation. This work stands as a marvelous example of how design can bridge the gap between traditional concepts and modern spaces, making it a deserving recipient of such a prestigious award.
