DESIGN NAME: Natura Dried Fruits
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Dried Fruits
INSPIRATION: In this packaging, the designer has left a special artistic design by using the type of fruit, the left cultures (statues and art paintings), and combining them with animals, as in preserving the left works of art. A lot of effort has been done by our ancestors. Know that animals also play a very important role in our survival in nature.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In this design, most of the artistic sculptures of the cultural history of the world have been used, although it should be noted that subtle changes have been made to them. In the pictures, a clear connection has been made between creatures, selected fruits, and historical culture. But since the main theme of the packaging idea is to preserve the ecosystem, in addition to vegetarians, wild animals (hunters) have also been used as a symbol of power in some places. According to the main message of the packaging (environmental protection), degradable packaging has been used.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Fruits have a special place in nature for all living things and the interaction between humans and animals can be seen in these images. Basically, one of the goals of design is to respect the ecosystem, and our consumption and lifestyle can be very important in this matter. Another goal of this project is to establish a relationship between culture and the correct way of using food resources, which is closely related to this ecosystem.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2022 and finished in December 2022 in Shiraz, Iran

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Type of research: studies
Research objectives: Finding the relationship between ecosystem and historical culture
Data collection: The use of statues and historical arts in the design and connection of fruits with animals required a lot of time.
Results: The final result is a different design and the creation of a work of art.
The impact of the research on real-life phenomena: After the finalization of the design and implementation during a private demonstration, it has been found that all the visitors looked at the packaging design with deep thought and talked about it.
CHALLENGE: In the first stage, the designer intended to engage the viewer's mind with historical cultures and through that show the importance of the earth and the ecosystem of life. Therefore, finding this connection required a lot of study and initial plans, and this was the designer's challenge in conceptualizing and implementing it.

The moment I laid eyes on the "Natura Dried Fruits" packaging, I was immediately struck by the profound creativity and thoughtfulness embedded within its design. It is not just a package; it is a canvas where art meets functionality, blending the essence of nature with the richness of cultural heritage through an innovative mix of fruit, historical art, and animal imagery. This design does more than just encase dried fruits; it tells a story of our ancestors' legacies and the pivotal role animals play in our ecosystem. The way these elements intertwine not only showcases a deep respect for our natural and cultural worlds but also elevates the packaging to a piece of art in its own right. It is a testament to the designer's ability to think beyond conventional boundaries and contribute a meaningful narrative to the everyday product. This award is a well-deserved recognition of not only aesthetic appeal but also of a commitment to embedding deeper stories within the realm of packaging design.
