| DESIGN NAME: Dakang PRIMARY FUNCTION: Theme Park INSPIRATION: To provide a leisure space for residents and children in the surrounding community to play, take pictures, and relax, the park has been designed with vibrant colors. Additionally, by using this colorful approach, a long-damaged building wall next to the park has been repaired to harmonize with the park environment. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Shenzhen Longgang Dakang Community Glasses Theme Park is a hub for local glasses makers, featuring a colorful design inspired by glasses patterns. With interactive screens, curved mirrors, and unique benches, the park is popular for relaxation, play, and photography. It has also improved the environment by repairing a building wall and harmonizing the surroundings. The park is a vibrant and engaging space for visitors of all ages to enjoy. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The facility and equipment used in the park are specially designed to incorporate the glasses theme in a way that is both familiar and appealing to visitors. Features such as interactive screens, curved mirrors, and benches of various shapes make the park a fun and engaging place for all ages. The park's design concept and execution have been successful, making it a popular destination for relaxation, play, and photography. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in January 2023 in Shenzhen and finished in April 2023 in Shenzhen. NAME: Dakang Community PROFILE: Dakang Community is a government department located in the central part of Yuanshan Street, east of Huiyan Road, and traversed by Shahe Road and Hengping Connection Line. It is a rural-urban integration community with an area of 10.1 square kilometers and a population of 62,700, including 2800 registered residents. It has seven residents' groups, namely Xintang, Shangzhong, Longcun, Xiazhong, Dafeng, Dawan, and Futian residents' groups. |
