DESIGN NAME: Elephant Weight
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Mathematics Early Education Toys
INSPIRATION: The traditional Chinese story "Cao Chong Weighs the Elephant" tells that Cao Chong used the method of "equal replacement" to replace the elephant with many stones, and made marks on the boat to make the elephant and the stone have the same effect. According to the weight of the stone, the weight of the elephant can be obtained. Solve this problem by transforming "big" into "small". We combine the " Equivalent Substitution " in the story with children's toys.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a math early education toy for children over 3 years old. It is developed from the "equivalent replacement" in the story of " Cao Chong Weighs the Elephant ". Each small elephant weight is marked with 5g, 10g, 20g, 30g, 40g, 50g and 100g according to the weight. Weigh according to the hull sinking,children can clearly feel the weight of different scales and enhance the sensitivity to weight and numbers, to strengthen children's careful observation of small objects around them.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Step 1) Put any items you want to weigh;Step 2) Mark the sinking position of the ship with the anchor;Step 3) put in the elephant weights to make the hull return to the anchor position;Step 4) Calculate the weight of the object with the elephant weights.
