| DESIGN NAME: HD Mengyin Black Golden PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kitchen Cabinet INSPIRATION: Inspired by bamboo, the product integrates traditional Chinese culture with a modern design context. It mainly adopts embossed imitated bamboo woven door panels, and the bamboo node same-color decorative rack of the central island and recessed handle door type are blended with the brand logo. These features show the traditional culture in modern home design and create brand recognition. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The product is blended with the bamboo element, modern metal materials, and processes. We innovated the embossed imitated bamboo woven door panel and bamboo node decorative rack to endow the modern kitchen with Chinese style. The folded side-inserted door and rotary side-inserted door design hide the small wine cabinet and the electrical cabinet, which is attractive and functional. Integrated food-grade stainless steel island offers a more convenient cooking experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The stainless steel island is integrated with washing, cooking, operation, and display areas to realize a smooth user flow. Moreover, it is equipped with an industry-first-ever bottom range hood, a hidden oil fume purification system for efficient oil fume exhaustion, thus making the product attractive and functional. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The product mainly adopts food-grade stainless steel, silver brushed PET, and cross-textured baking lacquer, combined with innovative PET beveled pressing, modern metal wire drawing, and other processes. It also interprets the design concept of contemporary oriental home space using modern materials and techniques, such as the integrated central island of the same color, folded side-inserted door, hidden wine cabinet and electrical cabinet. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The solid wood dividers and the DIY wine rack module feature high flexibility and innovation, which can improve space utility rate through free module combinations. Western kitchen appliances are placed in a lightweight metal rack, which breaks the limitation of traditional cabinets and gives an illusion of suspended electrical appliances. The color matching is classy and detail design is delicate. The original embossed imitated bamboo woven door panel, recessed handle, and island decorative rack have formed new brand recognition. CHALLENGE: The difficulty of the product design is how to break the stereotype about classic wood Neo-Chinese cabinets. We finally chose bamboo, a thousands-of-years culture element, and stainless steel of extremely modern style. We reconstructed the bamboo element and used detail design to add a kind of humanistic warmth to the ice-cold stainless steel cabinet. An excellent and sophisticated bending process diversifies countertop functions.
