PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Shared Power Bank

INSPIRATION:
This design inspiration selects the intention of Popsicle and Popsicle mold, and designs a single power bank as a Popsicle. The case of the charging bank is designed as a Popsicle mold, so that the user can have an association when using.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This design selected the ice cream and Popsicle mold modeling intention. A single power bank is designed in the shape of ice cream. Users hold the handle at the bottom and plug the side wire into the phone's charging port to charge it. The charging cabinet uses the square shape of the ice cream mold. When users take and put the power bank, it is like experiencing the behavior of taking and putting popsicles, which brings fun and satisfies the emotional needs of users.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
When using, the user only needs to hold the handle at the bottom of the charging bank and insert the side charging cable into the charging port of the mobile phone to charge, which is the same as the method of using the shared charging bank on the market. The charging cabinet selects the square shape of the Popsicle mold. When users take or put back the charging bank, it is like experiencing the use behavior of taking and putting Popsicle, which is vivid and interesting, satisfies the psychological needs of users, and thus generates emotional resonance.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project began in Tianjin in September 2022 and was completed in Tianjin in February 2023

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The shell is made of injection molding technology, and ABS plastic is used to combine the parts with the fabric.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The design of the shared charging bank combines the modeling intention of Popsicle and Popsicle mold. Among them, a single charging bank is designed as the appearance of a Popsicle. When users take the charging bank, the handle of the charging bank at the end is convenient for users to grasp and extract, which is very convenient.

CHALLENGE:
It is a challenge how to associate the shape design of the power bank with the shape of the Popsicle, so as to satisfy users' emotions.
