| DESIGN NAME: Modular PRIMARY FUNCTION: Handle For Door INSPIRATION: We were inspired by the human and his individual preferences. The idea was to create a simple design that can be freely changed and mixed as it is modular in nature. Our goal was to design something outstanding, limited only by your imagination. We strongly believe that this solution will help to match the door and handle to the façade and will give an amazing effect. We hope to meet all requirements of the customer. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A modular series of pull handles is a great idea, designed with attention to individual taste. Modular handles are made of independent elements. The tube and bases are separate, so they can be finished differently, combining the effects of the full RAL palette, Anodes, Inox and sublimation imitating wood. This solution allows you to create a unique handle, adapted to design of the door. You can also use a fingerprint reader and LED light to enriched the handle and make the door more attractive. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Each of the modular handles consists of 3 or 5 parts like blocks. They can be freely arranged, mixed and varnished in various colors, any patterns can be cut out in the middle part, they can be illuminated with LED strips, enriched with a fingerprint reader, etc. The product is designed for full individual personalization. Everyone can adjust the handle to their door and building facade. This handle is unique, one of a kind, unrepeatable. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The idea of modular handles was created in May 2022, the design and implementation stage is still ongoing, because the series of modular handles is constantly evolving, the concept is developing and expanding with more components, more blocks, new possibilities. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: MPS31 series of modular handles is made of aluminum flat bar with rectangular cross-section of 80mm x 12mm. Fastening to the door panel with legs in the shape of a streamlined wave made of the same flat bar. Extensions are also made of aluminum flat bar. Access control systems can be installed in the handle, e.g. a fingerprint reader, numeric keypad or touch microsensor. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The tube, i.e. the middle part with length from 100 - 3000mm. Bases are 200 mm long and are available in 6 shapes. They are straight and bent at different angles, they can be narrowed to 40mm or widened up to 120mm. They can be combined and used freely. In order to decoratively extend the handle, additional part of any length can be installed to the door. In the gripping part, there can be 2 LED strips illuminating the door, a house number effectively illuminated from the inside of the handle. The strength of the fasteners used between the individual parts, i.e. the modules, and the fastening of the handle to the door panel were important. Studies have shown that with certain lengths of the central part, i.e. the grip tube, additional support legs should be used to increase stiffness and ensure safety and durability. CHALLENGE: In the implementation of this project, the greatest challenge was to create universal tools that would speed up and improve the production process of individual modules. The process of improving tools, machines and programs continues to make the steps of creating each part easier.
