PRIMARY FUNCTION: Side Table
INSPIRATION: Inspiration can come from the most unexpected places, and for the designer of the Fan table, it was nature's amazing and unique stones that caught her eye. This inspiration is reflected in the table's design, which explores forms in a graphic and striking way, while also incorporating emotional elements that are always present in the designer's creations.
As part of the Graphic collection, the Fan table is produced with Brazilian stones and features minimalist and expressive pieces that use the raw material in a light and unique way. The result is a piece of furniture that is bold, timeless, and a functional object that also serves as a work of art.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A table made with a brute material like marble but transformed into a light and unique piece. The Fan line includes a coffee table, dining table, and side table, all with a graphic and timeless language.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The table is a still piece. A side table. You can use a small tray or a coaster to put a glass or small objects on it.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in July 2022 in London and finished in January 2023 in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim - ES Brazil, and exhibited in Salone del Mobile in April 2023.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Water cut and handmade finishing. The marble was manually polished on both sides.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research and studies were carried out on the best stones to be used in terms of weight, beauty, and resistance. It was also necessary to get the right dimension for the piece to have adequate weight and function.
CHALLENGE: Cut and polish the pieces of marble on both sides and how to fix and join the pieces on the solid marble ball.
