DESIGN NAME: Coralarc
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Installation Art
INSPIRATION: This work transforms the rules of coral growth into organic modeling by computer, and deeply studies the rules of coral tiny cells pushing, copying, and growing with each other, and slowly forms a beautiful shape of an organic curved surface over time, and records the generated slices in each process.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: CoralArc has material research, computer computing, and machine 3D printing technology, transparent materials, beautiful fantasy form like undersea coral and pure luster. Through the popularity of materials and shapes, CoralArc responders look at the boundless shores and skies of the sea, and show different features in different periods of time.
