| DESIGN NAME: The Future Preface PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Center INSPIRATION: We trace the city development and selects unique urban village memories to revive the shared memories of locals and immigrants. The application of "time travel" conception connects affections between generations and the city. We follow the architecture vertical line to divide the indoor space into past, present and future three dimensions, create a closed-loop immersive experience and show visitors the nostalgic glory and look forward to a better life. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To tell the history of a city is, in the end, to tell the story of its people. Because if there were no people, this city would have no history worth telling.Every metropolis has its history, take Zhengzhou for example from boundless farmland to densely tile-roofed houses to today's high-rise buildings, the change carries memories of generations. From life trivial to the striving goal, it is people's daily living weaves the urban prosperous. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Taking the time as clue and deconstructing the life style and architectural form of urban village, presenting the changes of city with modern technology over the years . PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: - SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 2288 ㎡ TAGS: Exhibition, Showroom, Renovation, Urban Renewal RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The project is geographical located in a village, we took a lot of effort to make it distinguish from surroundings in forms, while achieve harmonious coexistence in humanity. In terms of functions, the biggest challenge lies in client need different functions in different period. The project needs to relate to the property developer in initial period but a public building in the next few years.
