| DESIGN NAME: Hexagram PRIMARY FUNCTION: Experimental Fonts INSPIRATION: Since the eight trigrams can only represent eight natural phenomena, it is necessary to combine the two trigrams to express more natural things, which is called "six trigrams". This way of using simple symbols to express various natural things between heaven and earth deeply attracts us. Inspired by this, we designed an experimental font with the six trigrams as the theme. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The concept of Hexagram is expressed in visual language by combining the six trigrams and eight trigrams and the five period six star observation method with modern design language. The sixty-four divinatory symbols generated by the six trigrams are presented in the form of geometric lines. Through the standardized design of traditional talismans and the association with the divinatory symbols, the changes in the elements of yin and yang will form a new expression of the divinatory symbols. With the concept of astrology, as a variable, there will be a space for 64 hexagrams to change, corresponding to a six dimensional two-dimensional representation of Tai Chi 64 hexagrams, which shows the formation of 64 kinds of runes, visually conveys its connotation, forms in the sky, changes in the ground, and endows the six trigrams with modern meanings and concepts.
