| DESIGN NAME: Shengjing Treasures PRIMARY FUNCTION: Spread Chinese Traditional Culture INSPIRATION: Shengjing Treasures is a series of visual creative and dynamic design works inspired by the collection of Shenyang Forbidden City. Chinese ancient arts and crafts artifacts have many distinctive decorative patterns. We have seen the beauty of these traditional patterns and tried to use modern language to interpret them completely. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Shengjing Treasures is a series of visual creative and dynamic design works inspired by the collection of Shenyang Forbidden City. We extracted the pattern features in the collection for geometric abstract design. In the design, we adopted a combination of two-dimensional and three-dimensional art techniques. We used contemporary graphic design language to re translate the artistry of the collection in Shenyang Palace Museum, deconstructed and reorganized the collection with artistic techniques, explored and developed the creation form of traditional patterns, and combined patterns with modern multimedia technology, It reinterpretes the cultural connotation of the collection of Shenyang Forbidden City. The design is based on the collections of the Imperial Palace in Shenyang. On the basis of publicizing the cultural history of the Imperial Palace in Shenyang, the design closely follows the trend of modern design and conforms to the new development of digital media technology, endows these products with the significance of a new era, propagandizes the cultural image of Shenyang, promotes the construction and development of rich, powerful and beautiful Liaoning, and is conducive to vigorously promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture, Enable the public to better understand the charm of traditional culture in the digital age OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project will be started in Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in January 2021, and will be completed and exhibited in the Academy of Fine Arts in June 2021 FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design |
