| DESIGN NAME: 100 Years Architectural Memory PRIMARY FUNCTION: Book INSPIRATION: To celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, ten landmark historical buildings were selected as book designs. Books range from the Red Boat in the South Lake in 1921 to the Bird's Nest for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, documenting the architectural features and historical events. It reflects the cultural spirit core contained in the architecture, highlights the great spirit of the Chinese nation, and recalls the past architecture. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, ten landmark historical buildings were selected as book designs. Retro elements are selected as the layout design graphics of books, the geometry of buildings is extracted, and the layout design is carried out by cutting and stitching the geometry. At the same time, the peripheral extension is carried out, and the building also has three-dimensional interactive display. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This book is made of acrylic shell, one is to reflect the collection of books, the other is to integrate the concept of gift box, so the operation process of this book is: the book and small objects are taken out from the side, and displayed separately; Second, open the book itself and browse the design according to the table of contents. There are ICONS to enrich the picture, to add information as well as experience, and hidden letters and national anthems. Third, we can browse two three-dimensional paper structures at the end of the book; Finally, you can browse some surrounding content developed by us, such as stickers, postcards and so on, which can also reflect certain commemorative significance. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Acrylic material as the shell, book interior added some cards, origami mechanism and other materials. Make the whole book materials more rich, and let people enhance the sense of interaction and experience of books. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The size of the book is B5 (176mm×250mm), and the shell packaging is about the size of A four paper (210mm×297mm). The shell of the book is made of customized materials and then finely cut and glued in the factory. The page of the book is printed and cut after design and finally glued together. At the same time, a part of three-dimensional structure is added to the interior TAGS: History, architecture, envelope RESEARCH ABSTRACT: To celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Party, ten landmark historical buildings were selected as book designs. We use the historical significance of architecture to endow the historical changes of The Times and the research and embodiment of humanistic spirit.
