INSPIRATION: With global warming, the need for personal outdoor temperature regulation in high temperature/extremely cold weather has increased. Many problems need to be solved urgently such as sitting neck discomfort, too hot for work and too cold for air conditioning in public environments. The state-of-the-art intelligent temperature-controlled wearable air conditioner provides comfortable heat therapy and effectively relieves neck fatigue. It can achieve the demand for cooling/warming, but also can reduce carbon emissions, and strikes a perfect balance between comfortable wear and long battery life by the adjustment of artificial intelligence.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The state-of-the-art intelligent temperature-controlled wearable air conditioner provides comfortable heat therapy and effectively relieves n eck fatigue. It adopted the latest micro-air-conditioning technology of semiconductor refrigeration sheet combined with vapor chamber vacuum chamber soaking plate to achieve large-area uniform surrounding refrigeration. Made of skin-friendly silicone, it avoids skin irritation and health risks caused by excessive cold, thus making it more comfortable to wear. With AI algorithms it can monitor and adjust the ambient temperature. It also strike a perfect balance between comfortable wear and long battery life. The wearable air conditioner powers on when worn and powers off when taken off.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Equipped with an AI intelligent core, the smart wearable air conditioner can set a comfortable temperature for the users in Smart Mode, then leaves the rest of the operations to the Metaura smart system. Through the high accuracy sensors to automatically monitor the ambient temperature, automatic frequency conversion to adjust the power and working mode, the temperature will be stable to maintain the human body within a comfortable temperature range. The product will also can sense whether the user is wearing the product or not, to power on or stand by automatically. With lightweight app and applet control achieve more intuitive and convenient personalized regulation, infinitely adjustable wind speed, while the product has OTA upgrade to support more functional expansion.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: First, the target user groups and market value are identified through market data analysis, and a user model is built on the target user experience feedback and user demand analysis. After the technology has been defined for the product function, technical solutions are sought to make a prototype for the core parameters of temperature and power consumption. Then the core components are selected to design the product appearance in combination with the ergonomic experience under the extreme stacking. Model data is used for aerodynamic simulation and thermal simulation to refine the design of air ducts and heat dissipation systems. Then the layout is adjusted on the base of how more than 50 people with different sizes of neck feel wearing the prototype. And finally the appearance and structural design is settled.
CHALLENGE: Large-area surrounding cooling requires long-distance transmission of low temperature and efficient heat dissipation. In the selection of more than a dozen materials, including various metals and graphene coatings, it is impossible to achieve uniform cooling. Finally, vapor chambers are found in the field of military heat dissipation to serve this function. But the vapor chamber is mainly used in the heat conduction medium whose boiling point is higher than the working temperature for cooling. Only through a large number of medium ratios and pressure adjustment tests can the qualified cooling medium be determined for large-area surrounding cooling.
