| DESIGN NAME: Viti Back Masters PRIMARY FUNCTION: Mount Monitors Bracket INSPIRATION: The motive for creating a mounting bracket for video monitors was the lack of ready-made solutions to meet the expectations of the scenographers, stage crew and MICE industries. Butterflies squatting on flowers were an inspiration for rotating functionality. Based on many years of experience, principles of minimalism, safety and observation of nature, we have designed a handle that inspires new scenographic possibilities and gives freedom to work. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The construction of the handle allows for safe and intuitive installation of a video monitor, on stage or exhibition structures - stands, trusses, or a single beam - without interfering with the VESA mounting. Thanks to the given form devoid of moving elements and the installation holes used, we can rotate the monitor 360 degrees in 16 positions and deflect freely. The angle of inclination of the monitor is determined using the principle of screwing two aliskafs into opposite installation holes. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: 1. Screw the mount to the VESA monitor holes using the right screws and washers. 2. Screw the aliskafs to selected opposite mounting holes by setting the angle of inclination of the monitor. 3. Instal the mount with the monitor on the selected structure. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in July 2020 in Warsaw and ended in January 2022. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The handle is made of aluminum profiles welded together on each connection and secured by a plastic cap. Handle painted with black matte powder coating with 85 % light reflection. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions 460 mm x 40 mm x 460 mm. Weight 1.9 kg. CHALLENGE: The challenge was to design a simple form enabling the user is creativity. The main aspect was the safety of the mounted monitor, obtaining universal application and simple installation.
