DESIGN NAME: Dream of the Blue Manual Class
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Alcoholic Beverage Packaging
INSPIRATION: The primary colour is inspired by - "the maturing process of cellar mud: during the brewing process, the colour of the old cellar turns from yellow to dimgray, from dimgray to greyish white, and finally to jet black, and the cellar mud takes on a colourful brilliance in the sun".
The product is designed in the shape of an inherited teardrop, with a combination of sandblasting in the form of movable type printing. Manual hammering, like cellar mud, warm to the touch, with dark blue and metallic gold. The ink is hidden with sprinkles of gold, deep but not dull, rich but not heavy, echoing quality of the product, conveying deep cultural richness and promoting the Chinese spirit of craftsmanship.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The product is a premium baijiu of the brand YANGHE, is ‘A living artifact in a drinking vessel, a vintage spirit in a artwork.’ The liquor is bottled in exquisite containers coloured in dark blue and metallic gold. Inspired by the concept of the ‘Arc of Time’, the designer of the bottles highlights the elements of craftsmanship and antiquity. The design is an arch from the Classical Gardens of Suzhou and the description of the twelves major events that Yanghe Group has undergone. hese engravings reflect the ingenuity of the liquor’ s artisan workshop. The body of the bottle is sandblasted before being coated in hammer finish paint. Its soft, warm coating feels like cellar mud, and is carved with Chinese characters of ‘old pit pool, old baijiu, old craftsmanship; more nucleoside and flavonoids; less quantity.’ A tribute to the ultimate in craftsmanship, exemplifying the Chinese spirit of craftsmanship.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The product Dream of the Blue Manual Class uses the four-code correlation technology, enhancing from outside to inside layer by layer. The four-in-one anti-counterfeiting technology, boosting the split structure, is the most sophisticated technology that the industry has patented. To do a more powerful fight against manufacturing and marketing the fake, to protect the rights of the brand and make users more assured. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The product has been continuously polished to achieve a breakthrough in the high combination of design, technology and craftsmanship.
Cover: Structured as a fracture-proof cover; painted in gold; printed on wrapped paper to show the printmaking effect.
Bottle: The sand-blasted process reflects the handmade hammered texture, with a frosted touch and like cellar mud.
Box: Using blue variegated leather with wooden textured paper, and the hot-pressed with the Yanghe 12 moments echoing the cover.
