DESIGN NAME: Sky Blue
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Alcoholic Beverage Packaging
INSPIRATION: Inspired by the smart streamline bottle, easy to hold and open; The shape of the bottle cap as "eye of the sky" reflects the "futuristic aesthetics", and also implies the spiritual connotation of "the eye of wisdom" and "intelligent life and be positive". The environmental protection glaze process is the leading initiate within the industry, which will reduce the damage to the environment, in line with the "bluer sky" brand vision, at the same time endowing the bottle body smooth touch, exquisite and delicate; Aurora blue is as bright and colorful as progressive life, which is the embodiment of pursuit and love, luck, fashion and nature. The liquor box has the five-in-one structure to strengthen anti-counterfeiting, in order to maintain the market order; Four-code correlation assists in digital marketing.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The product design creates a "young, energetic, positive and upward" image, demonstrating the consistency of quality and brand appeal. The shape of the bottle is flexible and smooth, following the principles of rational aesthetics. The golden rule of "Fibonacci spiral" is used to modify the ratio of the wine bottle to create a more balanced, elegant and dynamic super golden ratio of "point, line and surface", which is convenient for users to hold and open, and meets the ergonomics design.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: 1. More comfortable to use: the entire packaging structure is designed by the principle of ergonomics, with the bottle and box designed in a proportion that makes it easy for the user to hold; the box adopts a tear-open method and leaves space at the neck of the bottle to take the liquor more convenient.
2. More enjoyment of aesthetic interest: the bottle is followed the principles of rational aesthetics, strengthening the visual golden ratio; the exclusive symbol of the eye of the sky, giving Sky Blue a personalized product connotation and the language of the times. It fits the aesthetic needs of the times and the liquor tasting interests of the Chinese people.
3. Secondary use is more environmentally friendly: the bottle is designed by the table tennis challenge to add life fun.

The project started in August 2021 in Nanjing,Jiangsu and finished in May 2019, Nanjing, Jiangsu.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Go deep into the market to conduct questionnaires, visits and discussions, to listen to the customers, gain insight into new demand of the consumers, identify new directions for breakthrough product innovation and constantly reconstruct the perspective of product innovation. The design theme revolves around the ‘Eye of the Sky’, using the fashionable and romantic ‘Blue Auroras’ , and the industry pioneered the ‘baby glazing’ process. In addition, it has also achieved five-in-one, four-code correlation, anti-counterfeiting and re-upgrading. With the project system to promote, weekly and daily meetings follow-up, achieving a front-to-back connection and integrated promotion effectively .
CHALLENGE: The design is created to upgrade the product. Under the comprehensive cost, while the best intention is pursued in the inheritance and breakthrough, to solve the four problems of old products with single colour and lack of vitality, inconsistent design language, box-shaped structure grade and anti-counterfeiting.
