| DESIGN NAME: Babyfirst Joy Pro R155 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Child Car Seats INSPIRATION: In 1963, the first real child safety seat of the world was introduced, greatly reducing the injury of children in car accidents. With the development of child safety seat, it mainly focuses on the safety performance and often ignores the comfort of children and the convenience of operation for parents. The original intention and goal of the Joy Pro is to solve the above problems, making parents more free from worries while providing children a comfort and safety travel. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Joy Pro is a car safety seat for children aged 0 to 7 years. Via AirSoft Sleep technology, it supports their head and spine by areas properly, and can adapt to the sitting and lying habits of newborns. With the temperature control and the safety monitoring of the innovative huggingo system, child safety and comfort and convenience of operation for parents are taken into account. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Parents can adjust the rotation angle and seat angle of with one hand. The huggingo on the Joy Pro can intuitively display the functions and status of the cockpit, and can be connected with the App and car host system, thus checking the seating status of children via App or car smart cockpit. In addition, when parents are out of the safe distance range, it can prompt them in time to prevent babies from being forgotten in the car. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started its design and research in Ningbo in March 2021 and was listed in China in April 2022 |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Joy Pro adopts a slow rebound memory sponge cloud like headrest, Dow 4D polymer fiber and DuPont Coolmax quick drying moisture wicking fabric to achieve excellent protection, comfort and breathability. BISP (Babyfirst Integrated Side Protection) system on the side of Joy Pro can synergize with the invisible honeycomb energy absorbing module, slow rebound sponge, high performance EPS material and the synergy of the double shell, giving the product excellent side anti collision performance. The use of child safety seats was officially incorporated into the Law on the Protection of Minors for the first time in 2021, marking a new demand for an iteration of child safety seats. CHALLENGE: 1. It can provide a cozy travel experience for children of different ages. 2. If parents forget their children when they leave the car, they can be reminded via APP. 3. Rotation and seat angle can be adjusted with one hand. 4. Sitting monitoring and temperature control. 5. Interconnection with phone or car. 6. Support legs can be fully stored in the base. 7. Children in group II can directly use the car seat belt, and the harness system on the seat can be stored in the seat without disassembly.
