PRIMARY FUNCTION: Liquid Collagen Rebranding
INSPIRATION: Heivy's brand name derives from the combination of health and Ivy. With a fresh branding strategy, the WBG team creates a visual impression of what the products promise: vitality, health, and liveliness. The logo and package designs reflected their cherished values and distinguished themselves from a run-of-the-mill brand.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Heivy symbolizes vitality, health, and the everlasting well-being that the team wants to maintain in rebranding. Drawing from these values, the WBG team creates a uniform, yet unique set of designs with meaningful names for Heivy's product line: the Lullaby, Uplift, Revive, Fortify, and Protect. Visually expressing the concepts allows the team to create something to make consumers feel youthful and lively, but most importantly, people's general health is the priority.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: By creating a new logo and package designs to represent Heivy, the WBG team helps build the brand's unique identity and create a way for customers to interact with the brand. Together these designs form the brand's spirit and identity. Still, each collagen drink has a carefully curated flavor profile, so creating a visual representation was vital in the rebranding strategy. For instance, each bottle is uniquely designed using colors and patterns to help the brand to speak aloud in the market.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The brand started in 2017 in New York, NY.
Rebranded in September 2020.
The product was launched in November 2020 in the United States and China; retail distributed in Canada, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Cambodia and Saudi Arabia.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: When it came time to produce the designs physically, it was imperative to implement sustainable technologies which stand true to Heivy's values of health and vitality. From the sustainably sourced ingredients in every bottle to the 100% recyclable raw material glass bottles, Heivy products produce fewer emissions and waste. It is more natural to keep their consumers healthy and the world we live in.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Dietary supplements are an exponentially growing market. It has conducted in-depth market research on competitors and the common packaging/design issues across the board. Bottles aren't convenient sizes, flavors aren't descriptive enough about the ingredients, or drinks are not pre-made. With these issues in mind, the WBG team designed a truly unique package that was useful, innovative, and beautiful for the person who cares about their health and well-being.
CHALLENGE: Before assisting with the logo and package redesigns, Heivy had difficulty delivering its brand's message to the public as the products were not unified. That's why it was essential to create a package and logo that was recognizable, convenient to drink, and embodied what good health should look like. Each collagen drink is a carefully curated flavor profile, so creating a visual representation of those flavors was vital in their rebranding strategy.
