PRIMARY FUNCTION: Grocery delivery system
INSPIRATION: Because of the expansion of massive modern cities, both city and suburban dwellers are facing difficulties. When city families suffer
from expansive, unfresh, and low-quality food, the suburban area people face job loss, deserted land (no one is
growing anything), and low pay. How to save this situation? We must build a bloodline of fresh grocery delivery
systems. We must transport and sell affordable, high-quality grows from suburban areas to the city and help them get
high-paid jobs.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ATLAS is a revolutionary fresh grocery delivery system for city dwellers that incorporates a fully
electric delivery vehicle, a quick set-up warehouse, and a specialized UI interface. ATLAS brings
fresh farm goods to your kitchen desk in less than 2 hours! The advanced delivery vehicle is a
fully electrified scooter equipped with refrigerated unit, innovative interface, and plenty of
storage pods for storage.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This product is designed to last, exchange parts, and quickly maintain. The whole frame can be directly CNC out and
fast mass produces. Every aspect of the product is changeable and can be detached with tools. In order to gain the
max capacity for the goods and safety for the driver, the cargo area is located on the front to have the extra space and
absorb impact when an accident happens. The swing arm is made of Ultra-hard coated Stainless Steel; it can
withstand a significant amount of weight. The exterior of the main body was anodized to obtain prolonged usage.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in fall 2020 in Pasadena, California. It was finished at the end of 2021

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The system contains an electric delivery scooter, a driver-centered UI system, and a modular warehouse.
Delivery scooter:
1, Each ATLAS® fresh pod is designed to be fully refrigerated around 4 °C and secured in the central refrigerator unit.
2, The innovative suspension system keeps the high horsepower vehicle on balance and the cargo safe even on a
tight turn.
3, A high voltage hot swappable auxiliary battery was created to shorten the recharge time and keep the vehicle on
the road.
4, The use of direct drive in-wheel electric motor allows more cargo area and better efficiency
Modular warehouse
the whole design is about finding a fast install, efficient way of constructing a low-cost warehouse in the suburban
area. It is not impossible to build thousands of ATLAS warehouse® in a tight deadline. Main materials Used:

from expansive, unfresh, and low-quality food, the urban area people face a job loss, deserted land (no one is
growing anything), and low pay. How to save this situation? We must build a bloodline of fresh grocery delivery
systems. We must transport and sell affordable, high-quality grows from suburban areas to the city and help them get
high-paid jobs. It's a sustainable way for both city and suburban people to benefit each other and a bridge for
communication. Once this system of fresh groceries is established, it will uniform the Massey platform-to-Consumer delivery market
and provide a better choice for the customer. With the help of refined hardware, warehouse, and UI design. In
addition, the system will bring the distributor, supplier, and customer on the same side and benefit each other. Based
on data, The Platform-to-Consumer Delivery sub-segment will be the leading category with revenues of USD 247.9
billion in 2025.
CHALLENGE: The engineering part is hardest, I have to consider how I can design a product to gain the max capacity for the goods and safety for the driver.
