INSPIRATION: Since ancient times, fragrances have been used for many purposes in every phase of daily life and have been an essential passion for queens and goddesses. Inspired by this, the brand Kertil Cam creates fragrances with plant-based ingredients, using the best plant extracts from the unique nature of Turkey.
It is believed that fragrances are so impressive that they can even solve the mysteries of ancient times of queens and goddesses. For this reason, the Messenger Angel symbol is created to symbolize this miracle.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A mythological visual world with the soft color transitions in the Messenger Angel symbol is in the center of the design. Variant names are the plants in Turkey, famous for their history.
The Messenger Angel Symbol also indicates the mystery of the lost 2000 year old scents. The floral structure in the bottle design refers to the unique scents. The waves going from the bottom up in a spiral form give the effect of scent splashes and create the feeling of unique fragrances overflowing out of the bottle.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Kertil Çam is a luxury fragrance brand producing the best colognes in Turkey using unique plant extracts since 1962. The brand needed a premium design for these unique scents. Protecting the brand's core and making it more youthful and modern was crucial.
A powerful brand identity that matches the spirit and essence of the brand adds a new touch to the brand. The symbol will remind the brand and its meaning to customers, even without the logo.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: For production, 90% recycled pet and PP labels were used. A spiral section was created on the neck of the bottle. This represents the diffusion of scents. It was a challenging detail to get this part out of the production mold, and we ensured that it was produced without any problems with a unique method.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: When the room scent product category is explored, one can see that competing brands use many color explosions and flowers. The bottle designs are relatively standard and similar to home care products. In addition, there is almost no brand with a powerful, premium brand identity.
The angel symbol tells the brand's story and differentiates the competitors on the shelf with the floral form of the bottle. Like fascinating fragrances, fascinating stories from the past come to mind with the brand.
CHALLENGE: The main challenge was understanding the brand's historical look and redesigning the brand identity and packaging design by protecting the brand's core. In addition, developing a solid brand identity and symbol to make the brand more memorable was essential. Therefore, a mythology character is the brand symbol to describe the scents that would suit the goddesses.
