DESIGN NAME: Hero
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fire Truck
INSPIRATION: The inspiration of this fire truck is based on the application of IOE in the fire protection industry,combing from the interactive mode of the control panel and the way of high-level fire fighting,turning the modular panel into an integrated interactive screen.Only heroes go against the fire. I named this fire truck "Hero in harm's way",which comes from a speech by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the United Nations,where he used these four words to pay tribute to the "retrograde".
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design explores the application of IOE in the fire protection industry.Firefighters can generate preset data such as foam ratio and water displacement on the interactive screen for direct use on site.Multiple drones are added to assist fire extinguishing with fire extinguishing bombs and other devices. The principle of infrared thermal imaging is used to detect the fire situation, and the feedback is sent back to the screen. It can bring a new dawn to the fire protection industry.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It can technically analyze the fire situation and transmit the positioning information back to the interactive screen in real time.The firefighters look for the wounded according to the fire scene modeling image returned to the screen,observe the rotation and analyze the fire point from the aerial perspective,and display the virtual spray path of the fire monitor on the screen for accurate positioning.Firefighters can control the drone on the screen to bring fire bombs to remedy the situation.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in March 2021 and finished in May 2021 in Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, and was exhibited in Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum in June 2021.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The environment where fire trucks need to go in and out is relatively harsh, in order to ensure that rescue personnel and on-board equipment are not damaged, the doors and body of the vehicle are designed with thickened steel plates and embedded metal protective nets. The side of the car is an integrated interactive panel, equipped with a tablet computer screen, to help formulate a safer and more effective rescue plan.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Lessons from numerous fire accidents have shown that the fire brigade may lose control of the situation due to cumbersome operating procedures, insufficient water gun jetting capability, and complicated high-rise buildings. The optimized design of fire trucks based on the interactive concept not only meets the public service functions, but also integrates modern technology, effectively completing the transformation from traditional fire protection to intelligent fire protection.
CHALLENGE: The most difficult part of this design is how to use the 5G technology that relies on the big data resource system to realize intelligent fire prevention and integrate with the traditional fire fighting operation process, so that firefighters can quickly adapt to the new form, so as to speed up rescue and reduce casualties.
