| DESIGN NAME: Lament PRIMARY FUNCTION: Short Movie INSPIRATION: The inspiration was films recorded in difficult conditions in real time. The image is recorded with a reporter's camera in combination with film lenses. The reporter's camera was used to react quickly on the set, and the film lenses were designed to create the right atmosphere. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A film made in one day. From the morning hours to sunset, in harsh weather conditions, during a winter full of snow. In the musical layer, the combination of an electronic work with an opera. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A film in which the viewer makes his own attempt at interpretation. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was completed within one day in Białystok,Poland.Video length: 2:55 min. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Movie, Video and Animation Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The film was made on a sony fs 5 camera, film lenses with a fixed focal length and one with a variable. Recording time 200 frames per second. Color grading in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Full hd image size: 1920 x 1080 TAGS: Music, Video, Opera, Modern, Snow RESEARCH ABSTRACT: I wanted to confront electronic music with opera and see how the audience would perceive it. In addition, the film was made in one day only,to present everything in real time, from morning to sunset. CHALLENGE: Recording during bad weather conditions, in snow, in just one day.
