| DESIGN NAME: Between PRIMARY FUNCTION: Dress INSPIRATION: The inspiration for the design was to create a womens apparel product for the transitional life stage of pregnancy to motherhood. The transition to motherhood is a period of dramatic social and physical changes in womens lives. After the birth of a child, most women likely experience a slow return of their body to its pre-pregnancy state, or they may have permanent body size and shape changes. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The key design elements identified above provided guidance to creative design ideations. A tunic dress was created with intrinsic versatility so the wearer may customize the dress silhouette wearing the optional belt, changing the way the belt is worn on the dress, and reversing both the dress and the belt from an abstract print or not fabric. Inspired by the metamorphosis of butterflies, it depicts the most celebratory stage of life for women. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This outcome meets the criteria for the first design principle, equitable use. The flexibility in expression and customization of the silhouette and color/pattern combination also offers the wearer opportunities to create multiple expressions of self through the designed product. Simple and intuitive use was also reflected in the minimalistic silhouette of this tunic dress since it allows the wearer to easily discern how it needs to be worn. The indeterminate front and back of the design limit confusion and fault while dressing. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The textile design could be white or digitally printed, natural fabric. The creative exploration stage involved generating multiple design ideas using many universal design principles as possible. A tunic dress and a support belt were ultimately chosen for the prototype. Design elements such as relaxed fit, shirring details, elastic fabric choices, and reversibility with no determined front back and opening were included to fulfill the universal design principles for womens clothing. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The jacket was made to fit all sizes: from 34 to 42.From small to large( S/L TAGS: white tunic free, minimal dress, between stages of Reprobable, fashion dress RESEARCH ABSTRACT: For this particular design case, five principles out of the original seven applied. The principles considered pertinent to the practice of this design problem included equitable use, flexibility in use, simplicity and intuitive to use, low physical effort, and size and space for approach and use. This versatile and inclusive design allows the wearer to customize the look of the apparel product, playing with various design options in fabric color and pattern. CHALLENGE: Trying to mix the creative design with efficiency was the key here. The belt accessory provide also the ability to manipulate the silhouette, but it also acts as a functional support accessory to provide the wearer with the desired support and compression during her pregnancy. This dress was designed to easily don and doff with low physical effort. For example, the natural fabric allows for ample stretch and ease in putting the garment on and taking the garment off. Reprobable makes clothes to dress not only the body but also the soul. Every collection has its spirit and lesson for the person interested. The principles of the R brand are defined by: transparency, integrity and courage, honesty, assumption, and the essential element - love of people. Generosity. Each collection of the brand represents the most recent experience of designer Adina Banea, who also created the concept itself and the brand's visual identity. The groups are called Lessons; they tell an important chapter in the designer's life. They materialize shortly in an autobiographical book with a significant psychological shade, Adina Banea being also a blogger ranked nationally in the top 10 influencers on couple relationships. Thus, Reprobable is distinguished by a unique fashion concept, which speaks about itself differently, listens in the first place, personalizes, chases to make visible a peculiar typology, and an ego inspired by or copied from the trend. Reprobable says NO to superficiality or the herd instinct, to that typology of people who buy status in society through a clothing object, not the clothing object itself. Reprobable reunites with its unique footprint, translated into collections of versatile clothing, intense emotions, and the inner battle of the invisible Ego with the Ego's self, exposing us to an actual image or, on the contrary, Simple.
