PRIMARY FUNCTION: Mobile Application
INSPIRATION: We often see people who resign and travel on the news, healing their hearts with travel.
However, it is difficult to have both the moon and sixpence, and the bitterness of life can rarely be reconciled with scattered happiness. When there are many restrictions with dreams, roaming thoughts, a game-based emotion management app, gives users the possibility to "embark on the spiritual journey".
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the face of the pressure from society, no matter how powerful the system is, it will collapse. In the era of information fragmentation, our emotions are also easily affected and extreme. At this time, emotion management is very necessary. This app allows people to easily record their emotions by means of games, and better manage their emotions through communication and reflection.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: You are a traveler from a foreign land and have registered the operation right of a travel train in "ROAM Universe". You can set off from "the center of the world - the world garden", swim in the vast world, and have a dialogue with the passengers on the "inter heart train" - your daily mood. Maybe you will know yourself better during the dialogue and learn how to embrace your emotions. In order to motivate you to record your mood, we have added a series of incentive mechanisms, so enjoy "roaming"!
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began in March 2021 in Nanjing, China. In July of the same year, preliminary prototype testing and product development were completed. The project was completed in Nanjing in October 2021.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: First, several versions of the sketch were drawn to determine the basic structure of the APP. Then, the prototype and low-fidelity production of the interface were carried out on the ink knife software. After low-fidelity prototype testing and further iteration, we used Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Procreate software on the tablet side to draw high-fidelity visual elements such as illustrations and icons, and made interactive models on XD .
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This app using iPhone 8 as the template, and referring to the official interface design specification of IOS. This app perfectly reproduces people's beautiful experience in the process of travel. Users have officially become a member of the train operation since "registering the right to use an interstellar train". Then they need to invite these "mood passengers" to get on the bus by recording their mood. Passengers may be different kinds of creatures, such as flowers in the world garden and cats on the Cat Island, and their appearance and expression will be affected by your mood.
Suppose you travel to Cat Island. This means that if you are surprised today, you will record a surprised cat. You can share with each other what makes you happy in your life. If you are sad, then the sad cat is recorded. You can talk to each other and explain to each other.
Of course, players can also give advice to others to help them better overcome their emotions. Players can also write down their reflections on emotions. For example: I'm sad today because the weather is terrible. Generally, sleeping will make me feel better on rainy days. So the app will identify your solution and record it. The next time it detects the cause of possible mood swings, it can provide users with appropriate solutions in advance.
With the help of app and players' own reflection, they can better understand themselves and help others.
Users can complete the task by recording their mood. The gold coins obtained from the mission can buy decorations or plant seeds in the store. The plant seeds can be used for planting, and obtain the prop "wind message". Through this prop, players can unlock new travel places, feel different game landscapes, and meet more creatures. The overall experience is very fascinating.

Research Objectives:
Understand the pain points of people's emotional management at present, encourage users to record their emotions through the cured app game design, and use big data and accurate mutual assistance suggestions to help people get out of their emotional difficulties.
Methodology:

CHALLENGE: The challenge is how to make users feel fun and keep recording their feelings? We have introduced many collection and incentive mechanisms to make users feel that they are really traveling and can communicate with their travel partners (our mood). This is a good means. With the recorded information, we can use the information to analyze users' emotions and give them appropriate suggestions when they are in a bad mood.
We don't participate in many social activities, but people can give advice and encouragement to each other.
We also designed lovely illustrations to make people feel warm and healing.
