| DESIGN NAME: Marilyn PRIMARY FUNCTION: Table INSPIRATION: The design of the dining table is inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s classic costume style in the movie "the Seven Years Itch". The leather is made of Italian top Tuscan cowhide, giving the entire dining table an elegant and attractive pleated skirt skirt shape. Hand-sewn leather by Italian artisans The leather skirt of the base is removable, and the atmosphere of the table will change dreamily with the replacement of leather. A total of 48 leather colors are available. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Circular design table made with Top of the best Italian marbles and base in hand-sewn leather in 47 types of colors so as to create a pleat that resembles a skirt. In this case the Marilyn Monroe skirt OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: With its interchangeable base cover in 47 colours, this table can be adapted to many environments, creating combinations, harmonies or contrasts with the colours of the room in which it is located or with the furniture around it. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: the circular table base and the structure supporting the top are made of painted metal. Their upholstery is characterised by a hand-sewn leather skirt in a pleated style. The skirt can be replaced by a zip fastener and is available in 47 colours. The table top is available in diameter 160 in marble or ceramic. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The table top has a diameter of 160 and a height of 75 cm. The table base rests on a metal plate with a diameter of 90 cm. Having lived in Venice, I explored the art of the famous Mariano Fortuny and his plissé. I wanted to create a table that could adapt to all situations and be as elegant as a pleated skirt and that could be replaced quickly. The Marilyn table, dedicated to the most famous skirt in the history of cinema, was born from Airnova's craftsmanship and leatherworking skills.
