| DESIGN NAME: Wing PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multifunctional Screen INSPIRATION: The product is inspired by the elegant form of wings in nature. The different angles presented by the wings bring different visual sensations. The control of the screen can be changed to open and close gently, and accompanied by music and more interaction with the user, the new design will bring a new user experience. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The wing is based on the traditional furniture function, the organic form conveys a close to nature temperament. The open state of the wing indicates the open and embracing state, the closed state indicates calm and introversion. The spherical base is Bluetooth for the audio, visual light fusion music, can bring a unique sensory experience to the user in the home. Wing's design takes into account the oriental aesthetics, modern design, emotional feeling, will be perfectly integrated into the modern space, simple and elegant shape can be easily integrated into different styles of space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Using magnetic levitation technology, wing can be opened and closed freely. Through the app's interactive interface gently swipe the screen module to change the state of the wing, the painting area can control the brightness of light and sound levels, which is more like the experience of drawing light and sound in space. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The program was conceived in September 2020, the conceptual approach was sought in 2021, technical support was found in September 2021, and the conceptual program was completed in February 2022. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: By installing the magnetic suspension module in different parts of the product, one in the ball and the other two on the rod on each wing side, the wing's pages can gently float on the ball. Then use the app to control the opening and closing state of the wing, the volume of music and the brightness of the lights. CHALLENGE: The understanding of oriental aesthetic forms and the construction of modern home life are the first starting point for reflection. Furniture is not just furniture itself, but the relationship between people and things, the connection between things and space, the relationship between people and nature and places. The dialogue between people, product and space is the most difficult part of the thinking. The challenge also includes the technology of how to realize the product.
