RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Since, this is a rebranding interior design for a classic restaurant in Hong Kong, we are provided with the Theme of Peony, we have look into the history, form and colors of the Flower Peony itself both in the Eastern and Western perspectives.
We then reconstructed the Peony into different concept and Art Work to show off the different characters and formation of The Peony.
CHALLENGE: Since the Architecture itself have a very dramatic height difference between the 2 dining area, also too much sunlight causes an incredibly high temperature in the space.
we are a challenge to improve such matters but provide a design that balances the functional and the Eye-catching Gesture into the design.
